His lips tasted of the sweet wine they had shared together by the campfire, and they twisted into a smile as her fingers tangled in his hair to pull him all the closer. Callina let out a low sigh and pressed her body against Alistair so that the swell of her breasts was thrusting into his chest with every movement she made.

Soon enough he laid her down before him and crushed his mouth to hers with his hands stroking along her body eagerly. Callina let her moan pass to her husband's lips.

"You are so beautiful," he whispered as he drew back to look on her. Callina smiled.

"As are you, my king," she replied, reaching up to stroke his cheek tenderly. Alistair chuckled.

"Even way out here, you're never gonna let me forget that, will you?"

"I am not speaking of my king of Ferelden," Callina answered serenely, letting a finger dance along his skin as she spoke. "He is back at the palace. No, I speak of my king, my sweet Alistair."

This time, he laughed aloud.

"And I thought I was the sentimental one, dragging you out to the old campsite like this."

"It is where we shared our first night together, after all."

"Lest we forget," Alistair murmured, trailing kisses along his wife's collarbone, "where it all started."
